H2S Measurement Method

Our H2S measurement is based on ASTM D4048 standard, using the Lead Acetate Reaction Rate method:

The measurement process works as follows:

• H2S reacts with lead acetate smeared on the surface of a tape
• A red LED beam shines on the tape surface
• The darkness of the tape indicates H2S concentration
• Precise optical measurement determines exact H2S levels

Total Sulphur Measurement

To measure total sulphur (TS) content, we employ a conversion technique that transforms all sulphur compounds to H2S, which is then measured using the method described above:

This process:

• Converts all sulphur compounds in the sample to H2S
• Requires controlled heat and hydrogen atmosphere
• Allows measurement of total sulphur content
• Provides complete sulfur profile of the stream
